The conception of the creation of the Botanical Garden, as a continuation of the wish of the founders, could not have been realized without the essential contribution of Spyros Kosmetatos, the Chairman of the Board for many years, who envisioned and implemented, together with the Board, this important project. For this purpose, Jennifer Gay, a landscape architect with extensive experience in the design of Botanical Gardens, mainly in Britain but also in other countries, was hired.
